Located at tropical and subtropical latitudes, this is a habitat found in climates that are warm year-round and may receive several hundred centimeters of rain per year, with a long dry season that last several months and vary with geographic location, dominated by a diversity of deciduous trees in most of these forests, which suffer a leafless during the dry season. Though less biologically diverse than rainforests, tropical dry forests are home to a wide variety of wildlife
