The World Yak Herders Association was a project designed by YURTA Associaton in the High Asia region, whose first phase was called "Community Dialogues in High Asia", which was funded by the FAO Pastoralism Knowledge Hub and implemented by us between 2016 and 2018

Himalayak was a project designed by YURTA Association as a practical conclusion of our report "Following the thread of Yak" on yak wool production commisioned and published by IFAD (2021)

EDUNOMAD is our current and more ambitious project. Designed to be implemented between 2023 and 2028, this project combines multi-sited anthropological fieldwork, art production, cultural diffusion and international cooperation, all of it aimed to serve as an original environmental education tool with the final purpose of fighting against climate change and biocultural loss.
